Quality Management Engineer -- Full-Time

If you are a Quality Engineering professional looking for an opportunity to progress, Alliance Compressors LLC has a great chance for you!This role is a fantastic opportunity to help the HVACR Americas business.As a Quality Engineer, you will sustain the Assembly operations through process performance tracking using data and statistical evaluation, studying quality issues, RCA, starting and facilitating CAPA, and assisting in ISO9001:2015 compliance. This position will extend to include supervision of quality assistance team members. This individual will collaborate with other functions to apply solutions. You will also report on advancement opportunities and initiatives to the plant management.
As a Quality Management EngineerFull-Time- Assembly, You Will:

• Investigate quality defects and do RCA
• Lead and/or add to structured problem-solving for Corrective and Preventive Actions
• Analyze non-conformance trends and judge the effectiveness of CAPA
• Recognize improvement opportunities and drive actions for progress by analyzing manufacturing processes and conducting process capability analysis
• Lead initiatives to better non-conformance PPM and Cost of Quality
• Carry out new product and process qualifications
• Lead quality assistance team members involved in measuring and testing products and tabulating data concerning product or process quality

Who You Are:
A dedicated engineer that can make precise decisions using data gathered from processes and from other team members. Capable of forming successful teams to problem tackle any issues that arise. Ideally advises work of quality team members to ensure processes and products meet standards.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology with exposure to quality and lean manufacturing plus two (2) years of related experience
• Requires strong social skills with hourly, engineering, and management
• Strong digital literacy required
• Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

• Experience with high-volume manufacturing
• Leading and developing direct reports
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ISO 9001
• Project management experience
• Minitab experience
• GD&T proficiency
• Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming experience

The general working hours are 8 am - 5 pm.

About Our Location
Alliance Compressors LLC produces, manufactures, and markets one through six-ton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35,000 square feet of office space. This climate-controlled facility is the third-largest manufacturing business in the area, and offers its 600+ employees many opportunities for advancement.
