Scope:

  • This Quality Systems Professional is responsible for operating the Quality Management System (QMS), writing procedures and processes to support the QMS development. Lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business as well as across the supply chain. Provide training to and champion the Quality Management System. Work on many phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting on project completion. Work under general supervision, reviewed at project milestones and/or on completion by Management.

Duties and Responsibilities: (In partnership with the Quality Systems Manager)
  • Administer Corrective Action System
    • Enter Customer CARs as provided by Customer Quality Engineers.
    • Issue Internal CARs as directed by management, and resulting from internal, customer, or 3rd party audits, calibration failures, etc.
    • Issue Supplier CARs as directed by management.
    • Evaluate all CARs for adequacy and effectiveness
  • Administer Internal Audit System
    • Publish audit schedule as approved by management.
    • Assign internal audits.
    • Conduct internal audits.
    • Write audit reports and communicate results to process owners, management
    • Assist in training Internal Auditors.
    • Conduct supplier audits as directed by management.
    • Assist with customer and 3rd party audits as directed by management
    • Manage OASIS (AS9100) and/or eAuditNet (Nadcap) database registration, NCR responses, audit scheduling.
  • Maintain the Quality Management System
    • Evaluate new and revised documents for adequacy.
    • Complete customer surveys and questionnaires.
    • Administer update of the Master Equipment List and IPC-1710 at intervals.
    • Assist with document maintenance, training, and record retention related to the Quality Management System.
    • Support various company meetings by preparing Quality metrics for analysis, attend/participate in improvement discussions, and maintain related records as directed by management.
  • Relationship Management
    • Communicate with Process Engineers and Management to implement an effective, documented process that defines product Quality requirements, best practice and training materials to support continuous improvement initiatives
    • Communicate professionally with various departments within the company as well as customers, suppliers, and other service providers

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/ AS9100 Quality Management Systems required
  • Strong Internal Auditing experience required, Lead Auditor experience desired but will develop.
  • Working knowledge of business systems preferred
  • Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of NADCAP, IPC, and MIL Standards related to Printed Circuit Boards would be helpful, but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of Quality Methodologies including Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing a plus
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes a plus
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment, questioning attitude required
  • Ability to drive change across organizational structures
  • Ability to present data, train subject matter, and work effectively with various levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and data interpretation.
  • Understanding of cost and financial impacts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Good reading vision; ability to sit/stand up to 8 hours a day.
  • Occasional travel to vendor sites
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
  • Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering/quality degree preferred, or equivalent experience working in a Quality Systems/Quality Assurance/Quality Auditor role

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM Provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
