Job Description:

Mundo-Tech, Inc. is a fast-growing, award-winning manufacturer of fabricated tube assemblies for aerospace, defense, and commercial markets. This Quality Inspector position will be 40 hours per week between the hours of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday-Friday and will report to the Quality Manager.

Who you are:

• Experienced in a quality position, automotive or manufacturing environment preferred
• Familiar with Quality and Inspection concepts and processes.
• Able to read aerospace mechanical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of Quality Management System requirements and the corrective action process
• Familiar with ASME Y-14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

This position is located in Rogers, AR and does not offer relocation benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Quality Inspector position inspects manufactured tubing and assemblies for accuracy and conformance to manufacturing specifications
• Reads and interprets aerospace manufacturing drawings, including tolerances, customer specifications and technical documents
• Follows standardized procedures to perform first part, outside processing and part complete inspections on a wide variety of welded, and formed parts and assemblies
• Accurately compares product to engineering drawings/specifications, purchase order, and manufacturing orders using common inspection equipment, (e.g., surface plates, micrometers, height gages, calipers, protractors, radius gages, dial indicators, vision systems etc.) in order to accept or reject product
• Documents product acceptance/rejection on manufacturing order, processes appropriate rejection documentation if necessary, and performs operation completion function in MRP system
• Completion of any nonconformance documents required by Mundo-Tech and/or its customer
• Thorough understanding of documents required in the execution of inspection duties including but not limited to customer purchase orders, applicable quality notes, etc.

Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum 2-year related work experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
