Overview
Founded in 1901, Children's Hospital Los Angeles is one of the nation's leading children's hospitals and is acknowledged worldwide for its leadership in pediatric and adolescent health. Children's Hospital Los Angeles is a premier teaching hospital and has been affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California since 1932.
Summary: The Quality Improvement Coordinator coordinates and provides ongoing support to medical staff and other departments for monitoring the quality of care and service provided to our patients and families, including, but not limited to: coordinating patient safety initiatives, supporting infection control, accreditation, environmental safety, and patient relations activities and initiatives. This position does combine regulatory and quality assurance responsibilities. The coordinator must be familiar with the key drivers for this role to include, CMS, DNV, UNOS, and other Department Specific Surveys. The coordinator will be monitoring compliance and quality assurance measures for our Solid Organ Transplant Departments (Kidney, Liver, Heart).
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift, No Call Shifts
Location: Onsite for Orientation with the possibility for Hybrid work environment once Orientation is complete.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in healthcare or related field required. Training or experience in informatics, including: Spread sheet application, Data warehousing, Data analysis, Time sequence charts, Basic statistics, and Reports. R.N. preferred.
Pay Scale Information
USD $72,176.00 - USD $129,792.00

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
