Job Summary and QualificationsUnder general supervision, and according to general policies and procedures, Quality Coordinator II is responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring the core measure process. This position is responsible for facilitating to completion and sustainment PI projects, small working groups, and projects to improve the quality of care and value for our patients. These projects and working groups are interdisciplinary in nature. The Quality Coordinator II identifies opportunities for improvement based on evidence based practices, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements, and monitoring of high risk, high volume and/or problem prone processes. This position maintains multiple databases and dashboards, as well as analyzes complex patient care data for reporting out at leadership levels. Analysis will also incorporate clinical and operational processes and outcomes. Partnership with Los Robles departments and management is essential to achieve overall quality goals
- You will maintain quality data on selected databases, keeps current on changes to the programs
- You will plan for and execute core measure changes throughout the organization
- You will maintain current knowledge of Hospital data sources and systems that can be utilized to meet patient safety goals related to licensing and accreditation requirements as well as performance improvement
- You will Identify opportunities for improvement based on evidence based practices, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements, and monitoring of high risk, high volume and/or problem prone processes
- You will ensure sustained improvement and follow up and key change initiatives that are safety and quality-related
- You will negotiate timelines and priorities for projects, coordinating action plans, and monitor results that are consistent with the overall strategic goals and imperatives
- You will be participating and presenting at medical staff committee and quality meetings
What qualifications you will need:
- Registered Nurse education required, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current CA RN license required
- CPQH certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years current experience in quality, risk management or related clinical experience within the acute care hospitals setting required.
