Job Description & Summary

We help build software and design data platforms, manage large volumes of client data, develop compliance procedures for data management, and continually research new technologies to drive innovation and sustainable change. You will manage products through initial launch and follow-on releases, identifying dependencies and clearing blockers.
As part of our Quality Engineering team, you'll help with testing management, strategy development, execution, and data analysis to enhance our clients enterprise technology.

Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree, demonstrating three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
- Advocating and upholding the standards, industry-leading practices and protocols outlined in the quality assurance and testing framework;
- Participating actively in reviews of user stories (functional and technical), identifying and helping to bridge gaps in requirements, particularly around use-cases and workflows (e.g. considers happy path, alternate paths, user-error, system-error workflows);
- Working closely with the Product Managers to obtain a thorough understanding of the application and the business being supported by the application;
- Conducting test planning, test design, test execution, and bug management;
- Conducting sanity, smoke, functional, integration, regression testing;
- Tracking bugs to resolution across all supported environments;
- Testing for front-end/GUI, APIs, Backend testing using SQL queries;
- Automating and maintaining Smoke, Functional, API, Integration, Regression tests;
- Collaborating with the DevOps engineering team to confirm integration of the automated test suite into the CI/CD pipeline;
- Communicating dependencies, risks, constraints to the team and actively seeking resolution;
- Working within Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP and Azure;
- Working as part of Scrum/ Kanban Agile teams in a multi-pod fast paced environment;
- Working with team members across multiple locations/time zones; and,
- Inspecting and testing processes and products to determine they meet or exceed standards.
