We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled employee to lead our Quality Department.
The Quality Lead plays a critical role in ensuring that products and processes consistently meet or exceed quality standards, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the organization. The Quality Lead is responsible for overseeing, performing and managing the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions within QFI. This role is pivotal in ensuring that products and processes meet the established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager will lead a team to develop and maintain quality systems, conduct inspections, implement improvement initiatives, and drive a culture of quality excellence. Quality Assurance (QA)
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Ensure that all quality processes and procedures are documented, regularly reviewed, and updated to reflect best practices.
• Manage internal and external audits, working closely with regulatory bodies and customers as necessary.
• Investigate and manage non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as needed.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and compliance.
Quality Control (QC):
• Establish and maintain inspection and testing processes for raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Supervise and lead a team of QC inspectors and technicians, ensuring their training and development.
• Oversee the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Review and analyze QC data, ensuring compliance with established quality specifications.
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Quality Management System.
- Some experience with AS9100 standards and procedures.
- Conducting Internal Audits
- Organized with management of documents.
- Hands-On inspection of the Parts using Height Gauge, Calipers.
- Operation of CMM a plus.
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder (US Person)
