Position Summary:
The Quality Data Analyst - MIPS/MACRA manages the value-based programs and oversees the collection and dissemination of quality-related data, the identification and implementation of quality improvement initiatives. The programs include, but are not limited to, MACRA/MIPS, and private payer incentive programs. Overall, the position will be responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and relevance of the quality-related data and insights needed to support sound operational decision making and achievement of successful financial and clinical quality outcomes.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews reports to identify opportunities to capture all Quality Measures by conducting ongoing monitoring of data, identifying, and analyzing deficiencies and following up with recommendations to ensure maximizing performance scores.
- Reviews and audits data to ensure it is compliant with the specifications and scores are maintained and improved.
- Communicate areas of improvement for optimal individual and group scores for required categories of the Quality Payment Program.
- Instructs Radiologists and internal departments on optimal and necessary performance standards.
- Monitors and evaluates actions, while providing feedback
- Schedules and facilitates meetings, provides communications and updates on program changes and score guides.
- Provides education and training to a wide variety of staff, as needed.
- Assist in workflow optimization, template creation, and other duties to meet reporting goals. Includes direct communication with providers and team members.
- Assist with MIPS attestations including quality, cost, promoting interoperability and improvement activities, including assisting with related workflows to optimize quality performance.
- Analyze and compile company data for a successful submission.
- Extracts data from internal/external data sources
- Monitors and reports quality metrics monthly
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
- In-depth knowledge of MIPS/MACRA quality and performance measures a strong plus
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau) desired.
- Experience with clinical applications such as EHR, RIS, PACS a strong plus.
- Understanding of technical and industry compliance and best practice standards, such as HIPAA, PCI and ITIL a plus.
- Understands security protocols and follows business guidelines for handling confidential data.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with different audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
Educational Requirements:
- Two years’ relevant college degree or equivalent work experience required.
- One plus years of databases (i.e., SQL Server) and SSRS desired. MySQL and other database platform experience are valued additions.

Physical demands/Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a diagnostic imaging office environment. Work may require sitting or standing for prolonged periods of time. Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate a keyboard. It will also require operating other office equipment, as necessary. Individual is in constant contact with staff, physicians, and vendors and must be able to communicate and express oneself accurately.
