Position Summary:
2024 Internship Program - it's 12 weeks.
Starts May 28, thru August 16th, 2024 (must be an active student enrolled in Graduate or Under Graduate Program)
The Quality Assurance Function is responsible for ensuring customer quality requirements are being fulfilled and defects are prevented. The Quality Customer Engineering team serves as problem solving facilitators as well as internal and external customer liaison.
Key Learning Outcomes:
The project will be focused on supporting process improvement (PI) project to drive the reduction of internal/external defects. Identifying root causes and implement improvements to drive First Time Quality.
Interns will be integrated into the existing project teams and will be assigned different aspects of the project such as time studies, process mapping, system testing, data analytics, etc.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Junior, Senior or Graduate level students
• Must be enrolled in a 4-year Degree program aligned with critical talent areas (i.e. Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain)
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Problem Solving - Root Cause Corrective Action fundamentals
• Metric Management - Setting, monitoring, and measuring performance metrics
• Six Sigma Tools
• Process Control - Failure prevention, monitoring and improvement methods
• Quality Management System - understanding compliance and effectivity
• Detailed-oriented individual
• Microsoft Office (i.e. MS Excel (advanced, MS Word and PowerPoint)
• Collaborate cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
