Job Summary
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for maintaining Quality Control of products.
Shift Times
6:00 PM to 4:00 AM
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Completes profiles on production finished materials and on product purchases and shipments per Company standards.
- Completes hourly/daily checks on food safety programs and equipment.
- Probes samples from finished hoppers and tankers.
- Checks in and communicates with drivers.
- Identifies and reports any food safety issues to management.
- Completes and reviews finished paper work.
- Perform quality analyses on finished products.
- Assists and fills in for Load Out Operator.
- Maintains lab, materials, and work area in clean condition.
- Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules & regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Work well with others in a team, management, and regulatory environment.
- Highly organized; superior time management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
- Safety conscience; detail oriented; able to multi-task.
- Good computer and math skills.
- Basic chemistry knowledge helpful.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
- Frequently lifts up to 20 lbs.
- Occasionally push, pull, move, or lift 50 lbs.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment
Job functions will be carried out in an office, lab, or plant environment
