The primary responsibilities for the Quality Control Supervisor position include but not limited to:
- Provide internal Quality Control support to ensure that products are built in accordance with customer and company quality requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to all areas in support of problem solving and quality improvement.
Essential Job duties but not limited to:
- Lead the operations team to meet key performance indicators including (but not limited to), dimensional, visual and performance requirements of quality
- Act as internal systems auditor for assigned commodity group to promote best practices. Systems audit covers all functional departments within assigned commodity group.
- Lead, summarize and report internal kaizen activities and team programs. Use ASI adopted problem solving methods to level up systematic and/or process specific issues and formally report to management. Assist and support all ASI team members with problem solving, countermeasure development and continuous improvement.
- Manage activity planning and performance review of QC Lab Team. Develop and maintain work instructions and procedures. Promote safety and positive communication.
- Other duties as assigned
Criteria
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes.
- Ability to analyze data and plan improvement activities
- Quality certification a plus.
Education AND/OR Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in quality, engineering or related manufacturing field
- Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience with management/supervision of others
