GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 50 years of expertise, General Dynamics designs, develops, manufactures and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

- This is a working Supervisor position which will include performing inspections as required to help meet company goals.
- Coordinate inspection tasks and dutiesrelated to Quality Control within the organization.
- Directly supervise the activities of Quality Control personnel engaged in quality inspections to assure that products and processes meet company and regulatory requirements/standards.
- Ensure the results of all inspections are properly documented using good documentation practices in accordance with company policiesand procedures
- Provide support on Quality Control inspection techniques to functional groups across the organization.
- Ensure proper product identification.
- Ensure proper testing or other verification of incoming products.
- Ensure nonconforming product is properly segregated and quarantined, products are properly identified with product status in accordancewith company procedures.
- Review, investigate, report and assist in the identification of product nonconformances.
- Identify and help implement quality system improvements when gaps are identified through audits and departmental reviews.
- Responsible for identifying proper training requirements and ensuring personnel training is current, in collaboration with Training Leads.
- Monitor the performance of the Quality Control staff to ensure alignment with established organizational goals.
- Responsible for managing and resolving conflicts involving direct reports.
- Facilitates regular communication and meetings with direct reports.
- Work with Production operations for Quality support requirements.
- Help ensure all safety policiesare followed by the organization.
- All other duties as assigned.
2-4 Year Technicaldegree from an accredited university or college and 5 years of Quality Control experience.
