Quality Control Specialist - 1St Shift Logistics

Structural Component Systems, Inc. of Fremont, NE is actively seeking full-time Logistics Quality Control Specialist. This position works Monday - Friday with no weekends starting at $21/hr shift with an increase every 6 months, based on performance. Wage is negotiable based on experience.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF LOGISTICS QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST

As a Logistics Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our logistical operations. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Quality Control processes throughout the supply chain, from procurement to distribution. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. As the last line of defense, you are to ensure the quality and legality of load meet the standards before strapping and securing it.

All Shifts are Monday - Friday with NO WEEKENDS

1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:15 PM -- Starting Pay $21/Hour (More based on experience.)

Required Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior forklift certification preferred.
• Attention to detail and able to load materials in a cart in preparation for loader position to load onto flatbed trailers for safe transport.
• Efficiently organizes and maintains the storage area.
• Accurately load all products listed on load sheet documents.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast- paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Ensure that products are damage free.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor) is desirable but not required
• Assists in other warehouse functions as needed.

Additional Functions

• Ensure all work is performed safely.
• Work in other areas or projects as assigned.
• Any other duties assigned by Warehouse Manager.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to read and write English
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Computer experience (Not required, but must be trainable)
• Experience as a QC is a plus but not required

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Outdoors 100% of the time, all weather.
• Must be able to lift up to 101lbs at one time occasionally.
