Quality Control Paint Inspector

We are looking for a responsible Quality Inspector to check the quality of paint and Manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for conducting detailed in-process and final inspections while analyzing paint defects and root causes.

You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business.

The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards are essential.

The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials to ensure our customers receive high-quality products for long-term success.

$26 - $29 hourly

• Quality Paint and manufacturing processes
• Analyzing Paint defects and root cause analysis
• Review defective Paint material, inspection, and disposition (MRB)
• Close Working with Production, Engineering and technicians
• Product delivery to customer with 0 defects
• Documenting Paint inspections (Safety Culture)
• Conduct detailed in-process and final Inspection
• Use standard measuring tools such as Mill reader, etc.
• Use good judgment regarding workmanship issues
• Compare product to customer drawings and published customer standards
• Generate and process NCR documentation on discrepant product
• Verify outside operations by comparing supplier certification documents against detailed customer standards (heat treat, paint, NDT, etc.)
• Manage or generate all associated detailed documentation including inspection documents, etc.
• Reconcile discrepancies with company personnel, and external suppliers

• Proficient in the use of standard precision measuring tools
• Able to interpret and apply customer requirements as detailed in drawings, standards, parts lists, purchase orders, etc.
• An eye for detail regarding measurement and assessment of component features, and associated supporting documentation
• Able to use standard material and information management systems, as well as spreadsheets when required
• Able to communicate technical information verbally and in writing (in English), with others at all levels of the organization, as well as customers and suppliers
• Quality and or Manufacturing background is a plus
