Our client, a leading provider in the food industry, is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee and lead a team in ensuring effective quality execution, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance. This is a pivotal role in driving positive change within the facility and maintaining a culture of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily plant quality and food safety operations in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Maintain audit readiness and manage robust food safety and quality programs.
• Oversee plant sanitation and pest control programs to ensure proactive maintenance.
• Manage the facility's change control program and compliance to specifications and preventive maintenance programs.
• Lead investigations into non-conforming events, drive resolution, and manage hold and release programs.
• Track and report on plant quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and participate in budgeting and capital project identification.
• Provide training to plant personnel on food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
• Serve as the point of contact for customer-related issues, complaints, or inquiries, and manage complaint investigations and responses.
• Coordinate laboratory practices to ensure accurate Quality Control results and perform data analysis for proactive decision-making.
• Maintain the quality management system, ensure documents are up-to-date, and comply with food safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management within the food industry.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive change and foster a positive work culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
