Quality Control Investigator

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Investigator to join our Springfield Assembly Plant team for supporting the build of Medium Duty Vehicles. This role is a UAW represented position.

Responsibilities

• Participates in problem solving efforts with cross-functional groups
• Participates with defect containment activities
• Assists in "5-why" problem resolution
• Develops Quality Alerts and charts data utilizing Excel and other software
• Performs Layered Process Audits of manufacturing stations  

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year plant manufacturing experience
• At least 3 years truck/automotive/quality audit experience

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status). 
• Ability to drive trucks on Navistar property (no CDL required) 
• Understanding of ISO principles
