Position Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for overseeing all products entering the warehouse and ensuring that they meet product specifications and completing frequent audits of items within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Auditing all incoming and received product for compliance to product specification
- Ability to pull a sampling of a product population as per requirements
- Communicate the findings of the audit both written and verbally to management
- Maintain records of all items coming into the warehouse and make note of any discrepancies
- Maintain communications with QC liaison team members
- Coordinate with the warehouse management team to pull and return samplings for auditing
- Maintain a clean, orderly work environment
- Adheres to safety and promotes safe work practices
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previously warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic language written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic understandings of garments and stitching preferred
- Understand how to read and use a tape measure
- Able to record findings and understand dimensional tolerances and terms relative to measurements and standards preferred
- Fundamental phone and email skills to communicate issues with supervisors and team members
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching
- Continuous lifting/carrying of 25 lbs. or more up to 50 lbs.
- Positional: Frequent standing and walking
- Gross Mobility: Climbing, frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation.
