BSEt, a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), an Alaska Native Corporation, in anticipation of contract award, is currently recruiting for the position of Quality Control Inspector. This position is located at HollomanAFB, New Mexico, and is a full time, regular position. This position will report to the Quality Manager.

Job Description

This position, located at Holloman AFB, NM, implements the program specific Quality Control and safety plans within overarching programs to ensure services are performed in accordance with commonly accepted commercial practices, manufacturer recommendations, contract specifications, and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as respond to customer feedback. Inspect all phases of operations and maintenance for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards. Performs on-going work reviews to ensure all services listed on the Service Summary are performed in a satisfactory manner. Implement proactive procedures (scheduled and unscheduled) to identify, prevent, correct, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services. Maintain Quality Control files, and document results of all inspections. Identify trends with equipment reliability and repeated deficiencies found during inspections, and ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness of all required reports. The duties and requirements of this position include but are not limited to:


Primary Responsibilities

  • Apply International Organization for Standardization (ISO) concepts and principles to conduct a highly effective and efficient quality program
  • Establish, implement, adhere to, and update a program level Quality Control Plan (QCP)
  • Function as responsive, independent evaluation entity reporting directly to the Quality Manager
  • Promote and enforce local process adherence, and product/service delivery requirements
  • Address proper inspection and test, adjustments, and quality issues with other project/site staff
  • Assess performance to identify deficiencies, determine root cause, develop solution(s)
  • Conduct a Deficiency Reporting program
  • Conduct a Corrective and Preventive Action program
  • Conduct a Configuration Management program
  • Conduct a Documentation Management program
  • Promote local Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards
  • Perform and document walk-through safety inspections of workplaces
  • Assess high interest areas based on hazard potential and severity, enact control measures
  • Eliminate hazards upon discovery, or enact interim control measures until final correction
  • Conduct a Job Hazard Analysis program
  • Conduct a Hazard Communication Program
  • Conduct an Incident Reporting program
  • Provide hazard abatement information, as required
  • Accomplish periodic measurement, analysis, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with BSEt Quality Control and Safety Programs
  • Other duties as assigned

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and management assistance, as required
  • Provide logistic and administrative assistance, as required

Minimum Education/Experience

  • Requires successful completion of an accredited Associate Degree and/or Technical Apprentice Program in Electronics,
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience at the journeyman level, with three (3) years' experience at the Craftsman level.
  • Must be able to exercise independent judgment, demonstrate knowledge of quality management principles, understand processes and interrelationships,
  • Interpret and verify system/equipment physical condition and functional performance indicators, assess procedural compliance, compile and analyze trends as well as track and resolve corrective and preventive action.

Additional Requirements

  • US Citizen // Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
