Quality Control / Quality Assurance / Quality Inspections
Quality Control Inspector (Fasterners) (ISO9001)
Up to $60,000 to start plus great benefits
As Quality Control Inspector, you will:
- Join a manufacturer of fastening components and automotive parts
- Receive industry-specific training
- Conduct quality inspections on parts
- Utilize calipers and micrometers to complete dimensional inspections
- Assist Sales and Purchasing Departments with quality planning processes
- Serve as a liaison between customers and subcontracts
- Complete Pre-Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP), Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) and/or other requirements for customer submission packets
- Maintain Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO9001 standards
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve quality issues and complaints
- Create corrective and preventative action plans
- Initiate corrective action(s) as necessary
- Escalate complex issues as appropriate
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- Quality Control / Quality Assurance experience
- Experience with Calipers and Micrometers
- ISO9001 exposure
- Root Cause Analysis experience
Pluses:

- +++ Automotive Part experience
- +++ Vendor Management / Supplier Management experience
