Form of workPosition Summary:
Responsible to assure that all project requirements are in place and the supporting documentation is in order and correct. Use measuring equipment to perform inspections of fabricated parts, perform various dimensional and visual inspections of materials and products and report results of inspections.
Primary Duties:
Conduct final inspection of completed projects including visual, dimensional, documentation inspection and special process requirements.
Assist with receiving inspection of raw material and hardware as required.
Detect, identify and segregate non-conforming product. Generate discrepant material reports.
Schedule calibration of measuring equipment and conduct in-house calibrations.
Maintain cleanliness of all measuring equipment.
Perform other Quality related activities as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of related experience.
ASQ CQI certification a plus.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience with various metrology equipment, including but not limited to tape measures, calipers, micrometers, height gages, angle gauges, thickness gauges, profilometers, plug gages, go/no-go gages, etc.
Knowledge of using a CMM and interpreting CMM reports. Experience with using CMM measuring arms a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and capability of interpreting engineering drawings as well as applicable specifications.
Knowledge of pertinent customer/company specifications and international standards.
Excellent written & oral communication and strong relationship building skills.
Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
