A top ten developer is looking for a Quality Control Inspector with experience in Multi-Family, Apartments, or Senior Living construction projects. *This position contains 50% travel to CA*
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review schematic and construction drawings for compliance with applicable codes and standards as well as the written goals and standards of The Pacific Companies
- Must be able to travel on a weekly basis to construction sites in the western states to review construction progress and to perform punch inspections of single and multi-story developments
- Prepare written reports for distribution in a timely manner following such inspections
- Represent the Pacific Companies in a professional and competent manner in periodic dealings with architects, governmental agencies and building construction personnel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Licensed architect or experienced Construction Manager
- Knowledge of and experience with the following:
- Design/construction of multifamily and senior housing
- International Building Code and / or California Building Code
- The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- The Fair Housing Act (FHA)
- Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS)
- ANSI A117.1
- Ability to read / comprehend construction drawings and specifications
