• Inspection of in-process manufactured and purchased assemblies, materials, and finished goods.
• Review, monitor, and report on process compliance as required.
• Identify, gather, and interpret inspection records, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Assemble and/or test products and materials.
• Defective Material Reporting documentation.
• Perform standard inspection of First Run and Random Sampling Inspection to standards (hourly inspections of each line).
• Stop production line if major non-compliance of specifications, standards, or quality is found during the inspection process.
• Communicate quality problems to QA and Production Leadership and fellow QC inspectors.
• Assist other QC functions as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement projects as needed.
• Provide direction and oversight of rework and sorting operations.
• Conduct investigative audits of materials, products, and processes.
• Work off site if necessary.
