Quality Control Associate

Position Summary/ Objectives:

The Quality Control Associate will be responsible to verify that receiving, in-process and finished products comply with documented specifications. This position ensures that the solid execution of company programs remain consistent with the overall company values. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Quality Control processes and can support the strategic and operational objectives of the business. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct verification activities for receiving, in process and finished products according to standard operating procedures
• Coordinate outside testing
• Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
• Write and revise standard operational procedures, specifications and other documents as necessary
• Assist with equipment maintenance and calibration programs
• Maintain quality records in accordance with documented procedures
• Release/quarantine in-process materials based on inspection or test results
• Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Assist in training new personnel
• Assist with various special ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned
