Requirements:

• Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North and South Dakota
• Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites
• Valid Driver's License, preferably Class A
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to work cooperatively with others
• Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to obtain Minnesota and North Dakota testing certifications
• Ability to perform basic math and algebra functions such as calculating surface volumes, weights, variables and formulas
• Knowledge of various computer applications and software including MS Excel

Responsibilities:

• Collects samples of crushed stone, aggregate, sand and gravel from stockpiles or mines and tests for conformance to specifications
• Selects road construction samples at specified stages and runs tests
• Records results of samples using equipment such as ovens and mold and performs calculations to measure air voids, gradations and densities
• Records test data applying Quality Control procedures
• Evaluates data and makes adjustments to materials
• Performs other tasks as needed
• Complies with Company Safety Program
