MULTIPURE / CARBON BLOCK TECHNOLOGY
QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN
Perform inspections and performance tests on all filters and blocks produced at CBT.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Inspect blocks and measure dimensions using calipers and a scale.
2. Inspect completed filters for cosmetic and functional defects.
3. Perform performance tests for flow rate.
4. Test structural integrity and chlorine removal capabilities.
5. Write and maintain all necessary records associated with inspection and testing of blocks and filters.
6. Effectively communicate with the QA Supervisor regarding problems identified during performance of regular duties.
7. Communicates with other departments regarding quality issues.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma minimum.
- Attention to detail and ability to see inconsistencies.
- Ability to keep up with department output limits.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs several times per day.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
