ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include: (but are not limited to the following)
- Sampling, sorting, weighing, gauging and inspecting molded production parts. The weighing will be done with the computer acquisition system. Periodic vacuum testing where required
- Sorting and inspecting additional assembled samples as required
- Package and mark all retains for archival
- Completing all quality documentation
- Maintaining the QC computer database and assisting other with computer related issues
- Inspect manufacturing equipment for observable issues, such as leaking oil, grease, or other potential contaminants
- Performing assigned dock audits of finished or assembled goods and scrap
- Interfacing with the shift leaders and injection molding setters and other departments
- Coordinate, troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
- Operation of Nikon Vision System
- Assist when needed on line qualifications
- Assist with drop testing and leak testing in QC Lab
- Support Packer/Operators by relieving and/or running the production lines as needed to meet production requirements.
- Follow and enforce all applicable Environment, Health and Safety, ISO, Food Safety and cGMP policies and procedures
- Report unsafe conditions and behaviors
- Must have excellent attendance
- Must be responsible, self motivated and function well in a team environment
- Flexible work schedule with a willingness to work overtime at times to be "on-call"
- Must have good communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to read, understand and perform test method
- Attention to detail
- Good eyesight and observation abilities; ability to see varying shades of color
- Mathematical ability; able to perform basic math calculations
- Excellent penmanship
- Desire to learn and contribute to the success of the company
- Basic understanding of computers
