Quality Assurance Technician
$20-$27/hr. DOE
Mon-Thu 7a-5:00p, Fri 7a – 12:00p
Are you an experienced Fabricator with an eye for detail, who is looking to take the next step in your career? If so, this position is that next step!! A world-class supplier of custom machined products is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will inspect and ensure all products are created to the highest quality and standard of the company and industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection and calibration tasks.
- Ensure compliance with a detailed quality inspection process, train employees regarding new processes and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of new and developing technology, equipment, and applications; apply knowledge to recommend and implement new technology and processes to improve efficiency.
- Maintain applicable Quality Assurance files and records.
- Assist with creating a satisfactory working environment with other departments to perform quality inspections.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- 3+ years’ experience in metal fabrication in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Practices and GD&T preferred.
- Interpret, analyze, and apply a variety of manufacturing principles and prints.
- Possess strong computer skills and understand basic programs and technology.
- Possess a level of detail with strong accuracy, math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Possess strong oral, writing and listening skills; effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
What you’ll get:
- Starting Pay: $20-$27/hr. DOE.
