- Perform and document quality/process control observations and tests as specified for each item produced.
- Verify all labeling and code marking of packaging at each startup, change over and at specified intervals during production runs.
- Perform and document CCP/CQP checks, and cross checks as specified.
- Obtain specified CCP/CQP verification daily.
- Documentation is to be accurate, recorded as it is generated and following GMP principles.
- Report out of spec (OOS) data immediately to both production and quality managers/supervisors.
- Place all OOS and contaminated products on hold.
- Verify quantities.
- Perform product change over pre-op inspections. Document verifications of line sanitation and GMP’s compliance in conjunction with the appropriate Sanitation and Production personnel.
- Perform analysis and documentation as assigned by QA Supervisor/Manager
- Conduct continuous GMP compliance audits and submit documentation once per shift on finding with corrective action when applicable.
- Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements and procedures.
- Responsible for food safety and quality
- Assist QA Supervisor/Manager with filing when assigned.
- Assist in peer cross-training when assigned.
- Other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Math and reading skills.

- Have visual acuity and palette to evaluate product and test results.
- Be physically able to work for extended periods in both office and food manufacturing environments.
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Regular and reliable attendance
