Quality Assurance

William Grant Tank & Vessel, Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our production team.

Essential job duties:

• Adhere to all applicable governing codes, customer specifications, and company procedures
• Perform routine inspections and quality tests
• Address and discuss quality issues and proposed solutions with superiors
• Document Quality Assurance activities
• Act as liaison with third-party inspectors
• Perform weld tests for perspective and current employees

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field, preferred
• Certification, preferred
• Proven experience inspecting pressurized vessels
• Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods
• In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
• Familiar with ASME code
  
• MS Office proficiency
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
• Bilingual a must, English-Spanish
• Excellent communication skills, listening, comprehension and feedback
• Strong team building and decision-making
• High attention to detail
• Strong work ethic, and the ability to handle peak work times

Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, medium work, visual acuity
