The Personal Involvement Center is partnering with Clarity HR Solutions to find qualified and passionate Quality Assurance Specialist - LMFT to serve children and families in their Mental Health program.
About the Job
Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the review of assigned mental health client records which include: review and identifying deficiencies according to Project Impact and outside regulatory bodies, monitor documentation and advise supervisor and assigned clinician as needed, compile reports, attend QA and Biller meetings, train and address client record issues, may conduct psycho-social assessments and evaluations as needed, etc.
- Responsible for review of assigned mental health clients records which include review, monitor, and audit according to Project Impact, DMH-LA County Department of Mental Health, and other regulatory bodies, etc.
- Advise supervisor and clinician of deficiencies, monitor corrections through to completion.
- Compile reports and submit to supervisor and clinician as required.
- May attend QA System Meetings and keep staff abreast of updates/changes.
- Identify clinician deficiencies and train staff according to Quality Assurance requirements and other regulatory bodies.
- Participate in Utilization Review Committee (URC) meetings, gather client files and other records as required.
- Monitor and track client records for discharge and completes process according to standards.
- Coordinate MAT program cases, locate, accept and manage all cases.
- Attend MAT and MAT Supervisor’s meetings.
- Address staff concerns and issues regarding MAT.
- Schedule training as needed to ensure the quality of clinical practice/notes for all staff.
- May be required to participate in Project Impact DMH, and outside regulatory body audits.
- Track Patient’s Rights concerns, prepared and forward monthly report to supervisor.
- May be required to conduct psycho-social assessments and evaluations.
- Assist in other duties as required or as needed by the Agency.
A Master’s Degree from an accredited college in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology, Human Services or related social science field, at least one to three years related experience in mental health, compliance, case management, social services or in a human services agency preferably in Quality Assurance, case management, auditing, etc.
