Summary:

In the manufacturing industry, a Quality Assurance Inspector is tasked with meticulously inspecting products and processes to guarantee they adhere to quality standards and regulations. They conduct thorough examinations, perform tests, and document deviations or defects. Quality Assurance Inspectors collaborate closely with production teams to uphold quality benchmarks and facilitate process improvements when required. Their role is essential in ensuring the production of high-quality goods and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitors, inspects, analyzes, and reviews processes and procedures for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with QMS/ISO procedures.
• Must be familiar with internal policies, processes, and procedures, external regulations.
• Perform inspection tasks by following established work instructions and procedures.
• Follow established quality systems to ensure factories comply with quality requirements at every engineering and manufacturing stage.
• Evaluate and approve contractors’ ITPs.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 2-3 years of prior experience in the industry (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
