Quality Assurance Inspection Technician

Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspection Technician with a strong background in mechanical inspection and understanding of ANSI standards.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Minimum of 5 years of Quality Assurance mechanical inspection experience

• Experience with ANSI Y14.5 Geometric Tolerance and ANSI Z1.4 Sampling Plan

• Experience with Keyence IM series or LM Series inspection system use

• Understanding of thread specifications, classifications, and calibration program

• Basic experience working with a statistical process control program

• Ability to interpret and comprehend Engineering blueprints/drawings

Responsibilities:

• Perform simple to complex mechanical/dimensional inspections for first article, in-process, and final inspections per blueprints using designated inspection equipment

• Inspect product within the estimated time requirements

• Document part numbers, lot numbers, quantities, inspection dates, results to ensure accurate product history records for each product inspection task performed

• Report all non-conforming products to the Quality Manager

• Obtain appropriate inspection gauges, fixtures, attachments, accessories, materials necessary for inspections

• Inform machine operators of any out-of-tolerance conditions or acceptability of product based on specification

 

 Pay: 20-27

Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
