Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze system requirements, concept of operations documents, and system descriptions to develop test plan and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results.
- Experience conducting system acceptance testing in accordance with approved test plan and test procedures.
- Experience efficiently writing, revising test procedures for the desired program, and evaluating the product to attain the desired quality.
- Experience ensuring software is functioning according to user requirements.
- Participate in after-actions review to address lessons learned and areas of improvement opportunity, as appropriate.
- Experience interfacing with clients, technical support personnel, and other technical professionals to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Experience evaluating and testing new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify those programs.
- Test access and ability to access, and review the systems' environments, source code and other resources to be managed, following receiving authorized access to the required configuration items.
- Support continuous integration and deployment by incorporating automated testing during the development phase to improve software code quality, security, and compliance.
- Perform Quality Assurance reviews of website content and implement enhancements to the improve user experience.
- Support the development and delivery of the program Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
- Define and maintain a process and standards for continuous improvement of software data quality.
Qualifications
Basic Qualification:
- U.S. Citizen; eligible for U.S.Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 - 7 years, or master's degree with 3 - 5 years, or PhD with 0 - 2 years' experience is required.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to do what is needed to achieve quality performance goals.
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience working with automated testing tools/frameworks
- Demonstrable ability to design, develop, and implement automated testing methods in an Agile environment.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Certification as a Certified Test Engineer (CSTE)
- Quality Engineer Certification Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
