HAP Tech, a subgroup of BRG's Healthcare Analytics practice (HAP), is one of the firm's largest and fastest growing teams. HAP Tech supports and advises pharmaceutical manufacturers on how to navigate the challenges and complexities of the 340B program as well as other areas of the healthcare ecosystem. Beyond our syndicated solutions, we also integrate and synthesize data to deliver unparalleled analytics and insights into various aspects of the 340B program and the pharmaceutical supply chain.
Job Summary:
Berkeley Research Group is searching for a motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to be an integral member of our new QA team! The QA Engineer will be responsible for conducting Quality Assurance testing of our web applications and microservices in our Healthcare Analytics practice's (HAP) Tech team. Our next-generation platform blends industry-leading analytics, advanced software architecture, and the latest web technologies. You will play a vital role within a rapidly growing organization while working closely with a creative, dedicated team, to solve complex user experience problems and communicate design needs with a human-centered lens. This is a highly collaborative role, and the QA Engineer will work closely with our QA Manager in the creation and development of new QA processes and workflows. The QA Engineer should have a strong foundation in software engineering QA methodologies.

Responsibilities:
- Build, establish, and manage the QA discipline for the 340B practice.
- Develop quality strategies for products and lead the development and execution of software test plans and analysis of test results.
- Enhance testing capabilities guided by standard best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Work closely with other functional disciplines, especially software engineering, product managers, and UI/UX design.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Information Technology or related field.
- 3-5 years of prior relevant experience as a QA Engineer is required.
- Proven capabilities in leading interactive software product testing teams.
- Proven ability to drive QA success via integrated cross-functional teams involving deep collaboration with engineering and design.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and Excel skills.
