THE OPPORTUNITY
Radici Plastics North America is a part of the High-Performance Polymers Business Unit of Radici Group, one of the world’s leading producers of a wide range of chemical intermediates, polyamide polymers, engineering plastics, and synthetic fibers. Radici HPP consists of approximately 3,000 employees, and a network of production and sales sites located throughout Europe, North America, South America and Asia.
The Quality Assurance Coordinator position provides an exciting opportunity to join a team that is key to the success of Radici Plastics. This position provides support to the QA Department through coordination of internal audit activities, management of claim activities, and control of documented information within the quality, environmental, health & safety management system.
REPORTS TO
Quality Assurance Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs investigations into customer claims.
- Work with process owners to identify root causes and ensure effective preventative/ corrective actions are implemented either from claims, internal nonconformities or from internal or external audits findings.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions from claims and audit findings.
- Ensure internal audits are on time and closed without delays.
- Organizes and implements administrative systems and procedures performing necessary support duties to other departments (document and record control).
- Communicate and liaise with all departments.
- Creation of technical documents such as work instructions and procedures.
- Create and manage action plans originating from audits and claims.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma/GED equivelent
- Advanced education preferred (Associates or Bachelor Degree)
- Minimum 3 years experience in a quality related field
- Microsoft Office suite, SAP and various other platforms
- Experience with technical documentation
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- English fluency (written and spoken)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Office, laboratory and manufacturing environments. Flex-time available. Hyrbid working possible after demonstrated success in the job.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Long periods of sitting, typing, participation in meetings/calls. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds. Standing, walking, bending, visual acuity, repetitive motions, hearing and talking in a loud environment
