Objective: As a QA Assistant at Central Moloney, Inc., you will be integral to our commitment to delivering high-quality Pole Transformers. Your responsibilities span from meticulous report management and repair report processing to conducting regular audits and ensuring adherence to quality standards. From relieving Switchboard Personnel and facilitating new hire orientations to issuing equipment and undertaking additional responsibilities, your versatility is key. Responsibilities:
- Collect, track, and ensure timely submission of daily/weekly reports from various departments. Maintain accurate records in the Logbook and initiate follow-ups for missing or incomplete forms.
- Process daily repair reports, enter data into the "Repair" Access database, and initiate orders for covers or tanks. File completed reports appropriately.
- Generate and distribute weekly reports via email. Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes for improvements and adherence to quality standards.
- Scan short sheets daily, categorizing by department and date. Fulfill stencil requests promptly.
- Relieve Switchboard Personnel weekly and coordinate swaps if needed. Adhere to a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule with punctuality and readiness.
- Provide Process Procedure Information during new hire orientation. Coordinate monthly Process Procedure Training for department employees.
- Issue Tape Measures and Air Gauges, recording in the Calibration Log.
- Perform additional duties, projects, or errands as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in data entry and report generation.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Familiarity with quality control processes.
- Ability to adhere to schedules and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of experience in a QA role in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed.
- Willingness to relocate or commute daily.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending, twisting, and walking.
- Background check, Drug & Alcohol Screening required.
