To help drive our future, we are looking for a Quality Assurance and Technical Support Specialist to join our development group.

 

As a Quality Assurance and Technical Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our data platforms. This position involves a combination of Quality Assurance testing, issue resolution, and Technical Support to guarantee a positive user experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including contractors, developers, product managers and stakeholders to address challenges promptly and enhance the quality of our platforms. 

 

This fully remote, full-time role will report to the Director of Data Platforms.  

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive test plans based on how users interact with the platforms.
    • Conduct thorough testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
    • Build test plans for automated testing scripts to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
    • Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
  • Technical Support
    • Provide prompt and effective Technical Support to users via an internal ticketing system and email.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to platform functionality and account management
    • Document and escalate technical issues to development and product team
    • Assist in creating and maintaining support documentation, release notes and FAQs
  • User Experience Enhancement
    • Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement in user experience
    • Collaborate with product and design teams to address user feedback and implement enhancements
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to contribute to the platforms continuous improvement
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and changes.
    • Participate in agile development processes, providing feedback during sprint planning and reviews.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance or Technical Support roles
  • Understanding of testing methodologies, tools and best practices
  • Experience in providing Technical Support to end-users
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools and scripting languages
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with web and mobile application testing
    • Knowledge of data flow and solutions Data Layer, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Big Query,
    • Exposure to agile development methodologies

 

Pay: $60,000 - $75,000
