We are seeking a Quality Analyst that will develop, implement, and monitor Quality Assurance and quality control requirements for electrical and mechanical components, assemblies and systems throughout the product lifecycle, for both internally and externally fabricated products. Phases of responsibility include design, development, fabrication/manufacturing and product field performance. Your areas of responsibility include Quality Assurance and quality control oversight and support include product process control, validation/verification and acceptance testing, first article inspection and product release management. In this role, you will identify and support continuous improvement efforts utilizing structured process, methods and tools. Drives quality control activities associated with root cause analysis, corrective action identification, and assesses implementation of corrective and preventative actions. You will review, assess, and audit subcontractor and supplier quality programs and capabilities, ensuring conformance to the documented quality management process/policy. Conducts subcontractor and supplier surveillance audits and assessments for source approval for a broad variety of electronic and mechanical component, assembly and system fabrication. Additionally, you will define, implement, maintain, and audit ISO9001/AS9100D quality management system policies and procedures within the business. Measures, tracks, reports and maintains associated internal ongoing key process indicator metrics. Background experience in health and safety vendor assessments is a plus.
Required:
- BS or BA in a technical or business related field
- 5 years related experience
- Some travel
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain an active clearance
