Our client, a Central Connecticut based large Hedge Fund, requires a Quality Assurance Analyst resource with a wide range of technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure test cases and plans are comprehensive and complete
• Ensure issues are tracked and reported.  
• Manage the full testing life-cycle
• Involvement in various phases of testing
• Develop/execute automated test scripts
• Document, track, and communicate test plans
• Execute test scripts, analyze test results and identify unresolved issues
• Install, maintain, and use testing software programs to conduct compatibility tests

• Understanding of financial markets and trade processing including algorithms and analytics
  
• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in testing front office trading technology components
• Experience with Market Data
• Experience with FIX protocol and FIX testing tools
• Experience in transforming manual testing processes into automated regression testing tools/scripts
• Ability to understand code and be able to script (JavaScript, Python, PERL, etc.)
• Knowledge of task/bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.)
