Our client, a Central Connecticut based large Hedge Fund, requires a Quality Assurance Analyst resource with a wide range of technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Ensure test cases and plans are comprehensive and complete
- Ensure issues are tracked and reported.
- Manage the full testing life-cycle
- Involvement in various phases of testing
- Develop/execute automated test scripts
- Document, track, and communicate test plans
- Execute test scripts, analyze test results and identify unresolved issues
- Install, maintain, and use testing software programs to conduct compatibility tests
- Understanding of financial markets and trade processing including algorithms and analytics
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in testing front office trading technology components
- Experience with Market Data
- Experience with FIX protocol and FIX testing tools
- Experience in transforming manual testing processes into automated regression testing tools/scripts
- Ability to understand code and be able to script (JavaScript, Python, PERL, etc.)
- Knowledge of task/bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.)
