Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Engage with supply chain partners to obtain appropriate product, vendor, customer, and company credentials, certifications, and records to meet regulatory compliance criteria, non-statutory requirements and standards, and company product stewardship goals.
* Manage supplier and product qualification activities for conformance with government, industry, customer, and company requirements.
* Establish and maintain product codes for approved products in ERP system.
* Prepare, distribute, and maintain documentation and information as necessary; manage structure and content in document management system.
* Provide product stewardship support and guidance, responding to internal and external requests related to Quality and regulatory information on company products.
* Identify and participate in internal quality improvement initiatives. Make proactive recommendations, support and drive process improvements, create and revise relevant SOPs, and identify/present solutions to upper management to advance Quality and work efficiency.
* Manage the company's Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) program to assure non-conformances and root causes are accurately identified, and corrective and preventive actions are implemented and verified in a time frame consistent with company policy.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company"s Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (ESS&S) program, 'Responsible Distribution'.
* Prepare for and participate in operational (non-financial) internal and external audits.
* Develop expertise in relation to relevant regulations pertinent to the chemical industry and assist with the review of new or revised applicable regulatory requirements and the implementation of any resulting modifications of related procedures/processes.
* Assist with accurate and timely preparation of regulatory submissions and reporting in accordance with company goals and regulatory requirements.
* Regularly collaborate and interact cross-functionally with Procurement, Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure competent execution of agreed business & functional priorities.
* Other duties as required.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor"s degree or equivalent experience required.
* 2+ years related experience in a regulatory compliance or quality assurance role in the Chemical, Energy, Food/Beverage or similar industry (industrial, manufacturing, process), or in relevant federal or state regulatory agency.
* Working knowledge of OSHA Hazcom 2012 (SDS and labeling requirements) and hazardous material/dangerous goods shipping regulations (DOT, IMDG, or IATA) preferred.
* Quality Management System experience a plus (i.e. Responsible Distribution, Responsible Care, ISO).
* HACCP/PCQI/Experience with GFSI scheme(s) a plus.
* Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to receive, comprehend, and to effectively communicate complex information through verbal and written communication to various departments, supply chain partners, government officials, and levels of management.
* Critical thinker that exhibits mental agility and the ability to deal with ambiguity. Must be process driven with demonstrated pro-active approaches to problem solving.
* Team oriented and eager to contribute positively to a growing organization.
* Intermediate proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products required; specific industry experience with Chempax (Datacor) ERP, CRM a plus.
