While some jurisdictions, including Maryland, permit the use of marijuana for medical purposes, marijuana continues to be classified as an illegal drug under the federal Controlled Substances Act. As a result, medical marijuana use will not be accepted as a valid explanation for a positive drug test result.
Adventist HealthCare will withdraw offers of employment to applicants who test positive for Cotinine (nicotine) and marijuana. As a Quality Analyst you will:
- Accurately performs monthly close activities using established operating procedures
- Provides timely, actionable data and analysis with recommended actions to stakeholders
- Performs ongoing surveillance of clinical and patient safety event data to identify and communicate opportunities for improved patient outcomes and trends indicating (potential) operational/clinical issues
- Serves as subject matter expert for patient quality and safety performance metrics for assigned service lines
- Administers users, tables, forms, reports and processes within the AHC event management system (RL Solutions) within the established change management practices.
- Executes test scripts and performs maintenance for assigned systems
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of five years relevant experience.
- Computer proficiency; expert level MS Office (especially Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Project Management Skills
- Leadership and Organizational Skills
- Strong verbal and written skills in English, including communication skills that promote interpersonal relations and customer service.

- Ability to work comfortably with all levels of user throughout the AHC Organization
Work Schedule:
Quality Control Analyst is supporting the Infection Control Department in the process of collecting, processing and preparing data for the Department.
Collect and aggregate data for hand hygiene, PPE, and isolation compliance
Assist with denominator data collection for monitoring surgical site infections.
