Description
A Qualified Professional (QP) at Safeway Home Health Care will provide training, supervision and evaluation of PCA workers and the services they deliver. A QP performs the following duties:
- Training, supervision and evaluation of PCA workers
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of PCA services.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as physicians and social workers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicating with the homecare agency regarding any changes in the patient’s condition.
- Grow the PCA program, which will lead to promotions and other opportunities.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for a position as a Qualified Professional, you must possess the following qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field.
- Must have RN Licensure in the state of Minnesota.
- Work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to travel and work in various locations, sometimes on short notice.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations governing home healthcare providers.
