We are looking for a Qlik Software Developer to be part of the N-Tier Supply Chain Integration IT group. You will work in an end-to-end product management delivery model with product owners, product designers, data engineers, and Software Developers to develop and deliver next-gen analytics innovation in Supply Chain management. - Focus on Qlik software development to support the needs and expectations of internal stakeholders and suppliers for both today and tomorrow.

- Collaborate with other Supply Chain workstreams and enterprise ecosystems to achieve integrations across multiple systems
- Working with the vendor team to understand the capabilities of SaaS applications to enable end-to-end business processes through configuration and integration
Responsibilities
In this position:
- As the Qlik Software Developer within the Supply Chain space, you will collaborate with technical stakeholders such as data architects, data modelers, enterprise architects, project managers, and platform architects for the implementation of the large-scale data analytics and BI solution.
- Deliver automation and visualization consistent with Ford processes and standards.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into the BI data layer design to provide meaningful business insights based on BI best practices.
- Responsible for the end-to-end design and development of Qlikview and Qlik sense-based reporting applications, including mockups. Strong development experience is required.
- Analyze, design, and define new or re-engineered business processes to propose powerful analytics solutions.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Qlikview/QlikSense system along with its development and maintenance.
- Perform Qlikview/QlikSense upgrades and new installations; hence, you should have good familiarity with QMC.
- Perform unit and integration testing, and provide release management instructions through UAT and production environments.
- Create reports with QlikView or QlikSense Nprinting
- Ensure quality data creation, presentation, and data flow across systems.
- Document on Qlikview/QlikSense data design and mappings
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in a science-based program and/or quantitative discipline with an emphasis on Business Analytics
- It requires outstanding organization skills combined with critical thinking, problem-solving, and agile management tools to support team success.
- 5-8 years of Qlik development experience
- Strong SQL skills
- Strong SQL skills and various BI/reporting tools to build self-serve reports and analytic dashboards Ability to write complex SQL queries and work with large data sets.
- Strong experience consuming data models, developing SQL, addressing data quality issues, proposing BI solution architecture, and articulating best practices in end-user visualizations
- Strong knowledge of Excel and pivot tables to perform analysis on large datasets.
- I am inquisitive, proactive, and interested in learning new tools and techniques.
- It is comfortable working in a dynamic environment where problems are not always well defined.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and define scope out of complex requirements
- Self-motivated and able to learn quickly.
Nice to Have/Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying AI and ML techniques to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities using Python and related technologies.
- Experience with data analysis and data modeling is a plus.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Ability to design and develop ETL processes to extract data from various sources.
- Experience with Google cloud-based platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of the automotive Supply Chain is nice to have.
