QC/QA Engineer

Konik is partnering with a local, global manufacturer that is seeking to add a QA/QC Inspector (Technician or Engineer) to their team. Are you a seasoned Quality Control professional with a passion for ensuring the highest standards in manufacturing projects, particularly in the inspection of weldments on pipes and water tanks? Do you also have a background in microelectronics? We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing QC professional who not only possesses the technical expertise to execute quality control activities but also brings a forward-thinking approach to our dynamic team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day quality control activities for microelectronics products, as well as a specific focus on inspecting weldments on pipes and water tanks, aiming for top-tier quality with minimal rework or delays.
- Collaborate with the QC Manager to develop detailed quality control plans, processes, and procedures, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Assist in creating comprehensive inspection test plans tailored to meet stringent quality standards, including weldments on pipes and water tanks.
- Monitor and control all inspections and tests throughout the manufacturing builds, ensuring adherence to established quality requirements.
- Manage the scheduling of inspections, ensuring efficient day-to-day activities.
- Promptly issue and control Non-Conformance Reports, taking corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Verify the correctness of all build documentation before manufacturing commencement.
- Ensure the final products meet client and project requirements through meticulous quality control measures.
- Proactively collaborate with project team members, suppliers, and contractors to foster a culture of excellence.
Your Qualifications:
- Over 3 years of experience in Quality Control practices, particularly in welding and steel products for industries such as oil and gas, aerospace, or water treatment equipment.
- Experience in handling high-purity products for the semiconductor industry.
- Demonstrated disciplined behavior with a track record of maintaining stringent quality standards.
- Proven ability to think ahead and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control and assurance processes.
- Strong capability to provide accurate and timely reporting to managers.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification - Preferred not required
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) from the American Welding Society (AWS) - Preferred not required
