JOB SUMMARY
To conduct chemical analysis and evaluations of finished products and develop methods and procedures to test and enforce quality standards of raw materials used in production.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Conduct routine chemical/physical analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples.
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations for release or correction.
- Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Update and maintain QC Database and sample retain inventory.
- Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment.
- Inspect select raw materials.
- Participate in internal assessments and audits as required.
- Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- All other duties as assigned to meet company goals.
This position is for the 3rd shift, (11pm to 7:30am), Sunday-Thursday. It is a perfect opportunity for a student looking to start a rewarding career in the chemical manufacturing insdustry.

- Enterprise resource planning ERP software – Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Office suite software - Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
- Document management software - Adobe Systems Adobe Acrobat
EDUCATION - CERTIFICATION
Previous experience in QC role preferred but not required. College degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Sciences, Statistics, or related field is preferred.
