QC Technician and Material Handler

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking quality technician with a good eye for detail. The technical handler will be responsible for segregating carpet rolls and building shipments by polymer type or company product style. Ensure all customer needs are met in a safe manner. QC Tech may also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement. QC Tech will also need to implement and utilize CAMS when making recycling shipments. The technician will be involved with all processes of improvements.

Quality Technician Responsibilities:

· Ability to learn to use CAMS.

· Report Nonconformance

· Maintain Samples of Emerald products and Styles

· Ability to distinguish Colors.

· Inspect returns and segregate according to Customer specifications.

· Bundle Carpet and vinyl as needed.

· Utilize Standardized testing procedures.

· Write reports for Managers when needed.

· Keep Records that are required by Management.

· Operate Lift Trucks/ Pole Truck

· Operate Baler

· Ability to use hand tools: Drill and Sawzall

· Train new MRM staff

· Ability to maintain confidentiality of Company information and Intellectual property.

· Compliance with safety and quality regulations

· Execute all work-related matters requested by supervisor

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· Experience as an Inspection or quality technician.

• Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.
• High-level of visual awareness.
• Advanced organizational skills.
• Experience drafting reports and collecting data.
• Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

· Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

· Basic computer skills

· Organization skills

· Attention to detail

· Ability to type and enter data quickly and accurately
