QC inspection
- Production in-line inspection for sanitation level, GMP practice in production and warehouse areas. (Daily)
- Perform pre-op sanitation inspection and report. (Daily)
- Temperature (CCP) monitoring during production. (Daily)
- Micro testing (E.Coli, Coliform, TPC) on finished products. (Daily)
- Sample collections (QC retains, Taste tests) (Daily)
- Communicates with USDA inspectors (Daily)
- Sampling and testing of ingredients (As needed)
- Thermometer verification (Daily)
- Air quality evaluation testing (monthly)
- Environmental Listeria swabbing (quarterly)
- Glass and hard plastic inspection (quarterly)
- Conduct GMP & Food Safety training to production personnel. (Monthly)
- Internal GMP audits (monthly)
- Special projects assigned by QC supervisor or QA manager (As needed)
- Chemical MSDS maintaining and controlling. (As needed)
- Production ingredient usage verification and logging (Daily)
Sanitation inspection
- Ensure all the SSOPs are followed by sanitation crew
- Monitor during sanitation to check cleanliness and record
- Conduct GMP & Food Safety training to production personnel. (Monthly)
- Special projects assigned by QA/QC supervisor or manager (As needed)
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or science based program preferred
- Minimum 1 years of experience in food quality fields/audited food manufacturing sites/HACCP certified (USDA facility QA or QC experience preferred)
- Experience in Asian Foods or trained in SQF/BRC is a big plus
