Qa Test Engineer

Aderas is looking for a Quality Analyst Test Engineer to join the team!
Responsibilities:

• Conducts evaluation of software/systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification, and validation.
• Defines appropriate measures to ensure product quality.
• Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software/system quality program according to the project, process, and contract requirements and objectives.
• Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
• Reviews software/systems design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.
• Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.
• Provides or directs verification and validation of software system requirements, traceability, and testability.
• Develops, publishes, and implements test plans for complex, multi-tier, distributed, applications throughout the full lifecycle.
• Develops automated testing systems using commercial tools, scripts and data set.
• Participates in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, and system testing.
• Assures the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects by working with developers and/or engineers to ensure the software or hardware development process has an appropriate level of testing.
• Develops response strategies and processes for high-criticality and security vulnerability-related bug notifications.
• Proactively investigates and finds potential security holes and attack vectors within both the existing and newly-developed code base.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors with 5 8 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience with testing custom-coded web-based systems in a team larger than 10 FTEs
• Experience with regression testing
• Experience with Oracle databases and writing and running complex SQL statements

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with Azure DevOps (Git Repositories, Azure Pipeline/Maven, Azure Test Plans, Azure Board)
• Experience with test automation (Selenium WebDriver)
• Experience working in an agile environment
