Description:
Support production teams by promoting company quality policy and standards through monitoring and confirming proper quality techniques are used. They will participate in audits to continuously improve the implementation and efficiency of quality systems. Maintain documentation for quality audits including gathering data and providing analysis. Work on a cohesive team where you are empowered to make decisions that are supported by your quality leadership team. - 80% of the day is spent on the manufacturing floor pulling samples, auditing paperwork, performing quality inspections, etc.- 20% of the day will be spent in office completing QA Paperwork and minor testing- Perform GMP and HACCP Audits- Physical and Visual Inspections- Complete Quality Documentation using Redzone Software on a Tablet- Pull Samples- Work with manufacturing to assure that quality standards are met. If there is a problem address manufacturing to correct or shut down production until corrected. Quality is everyone's responsibility and this individual will promote that culture- Flag and escalate quality issues to leadership- Participate in audits to continuously improve the implementation and efficiency of quality standards- Gather quality data and provide analysis- Interact with USDA Inspectors

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 or 4 year degree in the SciencesOR- 1 plus years of Food or FDA Manufacturing experience with understanding of Quality - Previous QA Experience is a plus
