QA TECHNICIAN
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the accomplishment of daily quality assurance surveillance activities to verify compliance with key processes or elements associated with the aircraft maintenance function, and reporting the results from the surveillance to middle and senior management.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verifying compliance with key elements or processes across all maintenance lines on a daily basis.
- Reporting discrepancies from the surveillance to Production lead, supervisory or management staff for immediate corrective actions.
- Compiling the results of the surveillance in a report format and publishing the results to applicable middle and senior management.
- Updating the QA database with the daily surveillance results.
- Perform other additional basic quality assurance functions required by the Manager Quality Assurance.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Candidate must be able to learn quickly and follow written or verbal instructions provided. He/she must be able to communicate, orally and in writing, any observed conditions to peers and superiors. Candidate must be able to work independently and effectively under pressure. Candidate must possess a strong attention to detail and must be able to read and comprehend written procedures.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High Schools Diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE: 3-months working experience in a factory, warehouse, or repair shop setting.
